SALT CRYSTAL | PARLIAMENT PLAZA
SALT CRYSTAL — Parliament Plaza, conceived and developed under the architectural direction of ir. Damien Richardson and R+, represents a distinctive approach to contemporary Caribbean architecture, combining refined urban character with a strong sense of place. The project transforms its setting into a sophisticated architectural destination where form, materiality, landscape, and human experience work together to create a memorable environment. Through the R+ design philosophy, SALT CRYSTAL demonstrates how architecture can move beyond simply providing space to establish identity, atmosphere, and long-term value—positioning Parliament Plaza as a contemporary landmark and reinforcing Richardson+ as a practice focused on visionary Caribbean design and destination development.
CHRYSALIS | ST. MAARTEN
The R+ main office - Chrysalis represents an experience here in the community that showcases a point of transformation based on the style and look of the project. The project opens the door for questions and curiosity.
you're looking at is a representation of a half cocoon structure that once you enter the space it becomes a place of transformation. The space - the top will be reflected in the bottom and in that way you will be looking at the complete cocoon within which you can then understand the idea of a chrysalis. Where the caterpillar becomes the butterfly and where people themselves can come and be transformed with their ideas and their thoughts looking also at the regional form of transformation within this project showcasing what the Caribbean could look like and also having a form that is able to manage hurricane activities
VASSO 'Composition of Main ports'
The principal aim of this project is to give architectural form to a distribution hub which is to meet the needs of Europe's transshipment capacity in 2030. Located above the Euro tunel 5 kilometers off of the French coast.

DIGITAL GREEN ENERGY EXCHANGE By Ir. Delano Richardson
Once there was no more use for the Great Salt Pond it was decided around the 1970’s to start dumping garbage and initially also sewage into the great salt pond. Eventually the pond fill grew and now carries two titles POND ISLAND AND MOUNT LUIS a nick name the dump got as a result of the 1995 Hurricane Luis. FISHBONE will put a stop to the negative and environmental problem that this uncontrolled dumping is creating for the urban context of Philipsburg.
SKYSLURG Creative Lifts
Letting the lined drapes of form envelop space, time and movement. Protrusions, improvisations of ferocious urges that need an inelastic trigger that holds it as it dances into the presence of the skies of flowers.
An object that curls upwards to a five hundred meter height with different sky-slurges that curls into the lined structure of this tower. Skyslurg uses a combination of a framed tube and a truss tube without interior columns for its structural stability.
